Cousins

The Lantz's came all the way from Ohio to visit over the weekend. They arrived Friday afternoon and stayed until Sunday afternoon. The kids played non-stop. Ali loved being with her cousins Caris and J.J. She thought Caris was especially cool, because she is a "big girl." We had a beautiful weekend with weather in the 80s. We spent a lot of time at the park and outside playing in the sprinklers. Suzi and I took Caris to see a production of Cinderella on Friday night. We had a fun time and wish that they lived closer to us! The kids are all growing up so fast. We wish our other little cousin Liam could have been here to join in the fun with all of us. Hilton Head is going to be a blast this year.

Baby Boot Camp

Many of you are aware that I have been running a small "Mommy Business" called Baby Boot Camp, helping new moms and pregnant women stay fit, for the past few months. Classes are every M,W,and F morning. Here are some pics from this morning's class. Ali and I have been having so much fun meeting new moms and getting to know their sweet little babies. I have really been enjoying my new life as a personal trainer. It just really is fun and the best part is that it doesn't take me away from Ali! Business is building and I have recently been training a new instructor who will serve as my substitute as well as teach Saturday morning classes. Ali has been learning a lot watching her mama lead these classes. The other week she started doing squats and counting "one, two, three,"... then she did pushups the other day in her room. It is hilarious! Now when I say, "Ali do your exercises, she starts counting and doing squats or pushups. Too cute! She'll be one in shape little kiddo.

Mimi comes to town!

Ali is in heaven this week because one of her favorite people in the world is here for a visit. MIMI!!! My mom has the ability to make Ali laugh like no one else. They are two peas in a pod. We have had such a fun week together. We went to storytime this morning at Barnes and Noble. Ali and Caroline decided that it would be fun to dance on stage before the show began. After storytime we went to Davie Park to play and then to Good Old Days for lunch with some of our mommy and baby friends from Baby Boot Camp. Here are some pics from our fun day!
